TFN’s GREEN working group invites you to to join the Barr Foundation staff and partners to learn about their recent efforts to amplify and elevate stories about climate impacts and solutions.
Attendees will learn:
- Insights from a climate resilience narrative scan
- A model for collective climate storytelling
- Considerations for funding this work
We’ll also unpack the specific questions and talking points that went into crafting the campaign strategy, which resulted in several local media stories, such as:
- How does extreme heat impact outdoor workers?
- What are the health and safety impacts?
- How are community-based nonprofits protecting people from extreme heat?
- And what policies do we need in place to build climate resilience?
There will also be time to hear from funder peers about how they are elevating climate communications in their work.
This is a funder-only event. Please register by Nov. 11 in order to receive login credentials. If you have any questions about this event, please reach out to Ashley Quintana at ashley@fundersnetwork.org.
