Community Powered Resilience is a different way of planning for and recovering from disasters that ensures frontline communities have decision-making power, safety and dignity.

Keynote: Dr. Cecilia Martinez
Dr. Cecilia Martinez is the senior director for Environmental Justice at the White House Council for Environmental Quality. In this role, she facilitates the coordination of the whole-of-government environmental justice agenda for the Biden administration. Previously, she was the executive director of the Center for Earth, Energy and Democracy, an organization that she co-founded to ensure that communities and policymakers have the tools and information they need to create just, sustainable energy and environmental policy.
