Smart Growth California is delighted to partner with SoCal Grantmakers for a June 27th webinar on two key areas for philanthropic action: defending against federal funding cuts to the environment and supporting California’s climate investments, especially through the California Climate Bond (Proposition 4).

Proposition 4 authorizes $10 billion over the next decade for essential environmental projects, prioritizing communities most impacted by climate change. Funders have the opportunity to support initiatives focused on wildfire prevention, clean drinking water, land preservation, and clean energy infrastructure, ensuring that these investments reach those who need them most.
