The past year saw escalating threats to the philanthropic and nonprofit sector — and the road ahead will be predictably fraught. Join us Jan. 23 at 12 p.m. for a member-only update on the fast-moving federal advocacy and policy landscape that is impacting foundation program strategies and grantee partners.
We’ll hear from Matthew L. Evans, vice president of advocacy and external relations for the United Philanthropy Forum, who will provide an overview of the urgent collective work underway on behalf of our sector, and spotlight ways that funders can engage and mobilize to help build a long-term, sustainable advocacy infrastructure.
The session will highlight places where philanthropic sector organizing has led to important policy wins that pushed back on multiple threats to the nonprofit sector over the past year. And it will share key advocacy and policy priorities on the horizon.
Please note this event is restricted to TFN members. As a member of TFN, funders can access resources and policy tools provided to members of the United Philanthropy Forum, as well as participate in learning and engagement activities including the annual Foundations on the Hill event.
If you have questions about your organization’s TFN membership status, please reach out to membership@fundersnetwork.org.
