Cities across the county are making major investments in their water infrastructure systems – drinking water, wastewater and stormwater – in order to deliver clean water to homes and businesses and to provide clean surface water for enjoyment in community parks and waterfronts. The investments also provide an opportunity for living-wage jobs and neighborhood improvements. This webinar will explore projects underway in New Orleans and New Jersey to maximize the community and economic impact of water infrastructure investments.

About TFN’s Power Forward series
As part of TFN’s 20th Anniversary in 2019, we’re hosting a series of deep-dive webinars that examine how philanthropy can leverage its collective power across a range of critical issues: policy work, sustainability efforts, economic prosperity, and supporting equity and inclusion in grantmaking. This month we kick Power for Climate and Communities installment of the Power Forward series, which will feature stories and shared strategies about the urgent issue of climate change and its impacts on people and places.
