Join us September 29 from 1:00–2:30 p.m. PT for the next Rural Funders Working Group meeting — a space for funders to connect around the particular challenges and opportunities facing rural communities across California, especially communities of color.
We’ll begin by sharing lessons from our recent North State funders tour, including what we heard about the conditions facing workers, gaps in access to rights and resources and the likely impacts of federal policy changes on North State communities. We’ll use those insights as a jumping-off point for a broader, informal conversation about what funders working across rural California would find most useful from this group and how it can support stronger connections and shared work.
