The Funders Network invites you to the next session of Reel Change: A TFN Virtual Film Series, which showcases documentaries and short films that lift up issues our communities are grappling with — and resilient leaders at the forefront of positive change.
Join us Feb. 25 at 2 p.m. ET for a viewing and moderated follow-up conversation of the 2025 documentary, I Was Who I Was Waiting For.
This documentary — directed by Aurora Brachman and produced by The Center at Sierra Health Foundation — highlights the many sacrifices made during the COVID-19 pandemic, using Community Interventions as a stand-in for the hundreds of organizations throughout California that worked tirelessly on the front lines to support their communities even as they grappled with the impacts of the global crisis themselves.
Community Interventions is a partner of The Center’s Vaccine Equity Campaign, a philanthropically funded program that engaged trusted community messengers to provide culturally relevant, accurate information and enable equitable vaccine access
Following a screening, we will be joined by director Aurora Brachman and Ucedrah Osby, executive director of Community Interventions, for a Q&A session moderated by Kaying Hang, president of The Center at Sierra Health Foundation and member of TFN’s Board of Directors.
Reel Change: A TFN Virtual Film Series is proudly presented in partnership with the Wyncote Foundation.
