September 3, 2020 9:00 am-10:30 am
As we find ourselves in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic and racial justice awakenings, it’s important to reflect on what we’ve learned and take action towards the new possibilities and opportunities in front of us that can create real and equitable change.
Join funder peers on Thursday, September 3, at the California Homelessness and Housing Policy Funders Network session, held in conjunction with the Housing California 2020 Virtual Un-Conference. Together, we will hear from advocacy partners on the opportunities the new legislative session brings and what’s happening in Sacramento, as well as receive an update on how Roadmap HOME 2030 is unfolding since our last call.
Additionally, we’ll learn about Re-Imagine L.A County, a coalition of advocates, community organizations, and neighbors pushing for a ballot measure to divest from incarceration and policing and invest in health, housing, and economic justice.
This session will also allow time for thought-partnership with peers on how philanthropy can engage in and support policy change as a way to re-imagine systems in California to be equitable and just to address homelessness and housing affordability.
More information, including speakers and full agenda to be announced soon!
